Das Komitee für Elementarteilchenphysik ist die Vertretung der deutschen Teilchenphysikerinnen und Teilchenphysiker, die an mehr als 20 Universitäten sowie beim europäischen Forschungszentrum CERN, am Helmholtz-Zentrum DESY, an zwei Max-Planck-Instituten sowie an außereuropäischen Forschungszentren arbeiten. Acht KET-Mitglieder werden durch geheime Wahl bestimmt, fünf Mitglieder gehören von Amts wegen dem Komitee an. Das Komitee wurde im Jahr 2000 gegründet.

And study the related phenomenology at the LHC. Therefore it is extremely important to combine theoretical and experimental efforts in order to achieve a better description of multiple interactions, and, in general, the underlying event.

The GDR Terascale is a groupement de recherche dedicated to the experimental and theoretical search for new physics at the TeV scale. The next plenary meeting will be held November 23-25 in Paris. Organized by Benjamin Fuks, Sandrine Laplace, Pietro Slavich. Meetings of the GDR as well as the transparencies shown can be found in indico.
